Axis Infrastructure is contracted with McDonald’s for on-call architecture, engineering, and construction management services for its $4B major remodel program in the Central, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast U.S. Projects involve remodeling building exteriors by neutralizing the signature mansard, branding, dining, and kitchen additions, and installing a side-by-side drive-thru. The interior remodels include kitchen modifications, bathroom modifications, and complete removal and replacement of interior finishes and decor.

As a result of building additions, restroom upgrades, and site improvements, HVAC upgrades, plumbing upgrades, and electrical upgrades were required on most projects. This included, but was not limited to, rerouting sanitary lines to accommodate new fixtures, new ansul systems, new grease traps, RTU replacement, hood upgrades, and LED lighting upgrades.

ADA compliance is a significant element of every design, and all sites were compliant, including parking, restaurant ingress/egress, seating, counters, restrooms, and crew room facilities.

Since 2017 Axis has completed over 500 major remodel projects, which included coordination with multiple vendors on decor, kitchen equipment, and technology applications (software and hardware).
