Axis was hired by Driven Brands to prepare construction documents for Take 5 Oil Change facilities throughout metro Atlanta. The buildings are typically masonry block or wood-framed structures founded on concrete footings. The roof typically consists of wood trusses or steel bar joists dependent on the structure type. The buildings vary in size from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet. The structure consists of two to four pull-through service bays with shallow wells and/or hydraulic lifts for quick oil/fluid changes.

Axis was responsible for developing the approvals including special use permits, rezoning, building permits, and land disturbance permits. The firm performed all the architecture design, structural, MEP, civil, and entitlements for these projects. The plans were developed using Civil 3D and Revit. Renderings were done using Revit, Sketchup, and Photoshop.
