Axis was hired by Jeffrey Sladkus to design new office space for The Sladkus Law Group. The project involved the renovation of a three-story, steel-framed structure with wood-framed interior floors above the slab. The 5,700 SF space is located on Carroll Drive near Chattahoochee Avenue in northwest Atlanta, Georgia.

The project involved the partial demolition of the second floor’s wood framing, designing a new two-story, steel-framed structure within the existing pre-engineered steel structure, a cantilevered steel-framed catwalk to an open atrium below, new foundations within the existing slab for column support, lateral attachment of the steel framing, and civil site work for new parking lot with ADA-compliant spaces.
